Chew Chew’s Diner, 186 Carlton St.

3 stars (out of 5)

Nice, comfortable vibe to this place. The standard diner breakfast, with small fruit garnishes, was a good value. Our server was very friendly. The home fries were memorable – coffee and toast were typical diner fare.

The standout meal was the Great Canadian Rail* omelet that one of my friends had.  He raved about it.  His large glass of fresh squeezed OJ was a deal too ($3.50).

If you’re in the area, chug on in.

*Or similarly train-themed name.
