Beachside Grill, 1922 Queen St. E.

4 stars (out of 5)

This bright (seated in the window), friendly establishment is no secret in the beach.  It has good food, generous portions and reasonable prices.  The service is friendly, too.

Breakfast was well prepared and tasty, and their whole wheat toast is above average (but their rye, perhaps, below).  My accomplices were very happy with the bacon.  A tasty, generous (4 slices) portion.

I’ve previously had the omelets which are very good, and huge!  They are also made in a pan, rather than on the grill.  (The fried eggs are made in a pan too!)

A great option, especially if the Sunset Grill, just down the block, is lined up out the door.
